Open daily, except Sunday, between 9.30am and 5.00pm Davenports Ladies' Wear is on the aptly named Main Street so, ladies, we are to be found very easily. The policy is quite simply based on the fact that the younger generation is more than adequately catered for by numerous other outlets, so at Davenport’s we offer up to date quality fashion for the lady who is no longer a teenager but who at, say, 40 and with an eagle eye on fashion is more disposed than ever to look her very best.  This same principle applies of course to our many customers who now look back to their 40’s, their 50’s, 60’s or even their 70’s. At Davenport’s we are very much aware that fashion is not just a personal thing but that it changes significantly as each year goes by and as we mature, quite often for the better!

The shop front area at Davenports belies the wealth of stock on view once you step through the doorway.
